For the launch of Cadbury Breakaway in 2020, we were tasked with creating the look, feel and concept to bring the famous wafer block back.
We created a format breaking concept that broke out from the viewers screen in digital, Ooh and integrated channels. Cadre animated our concept to life with some delicious liquid chocolate and textural cross sections.
After the successful initial launch, we created an interactive game in which users could find hidden breakaways scattered across the Cadbury website and click to claim a free block that was delivered to them. As the product continues to grow we’ve developed creative for the various new flavour variants, such as Old Gold, Twirl, Caramilk and Mint Breakaway.
